Terms & Conditions

The Lakeshore Fiber “Free First Month of Service” promotion (“Promotion”) provides eligible new residential customers with a one‑time bill credit equal to their first month of standard service charges. To qualify, the customer must either call Lakeshore Fiber to initiate service or complete their order during an outbound call from a Lakeshore Fiber representative. All customers participating in this Promotion are required to sign a 24‑month service agreement at the time of enrollment. This Promotion is available only to new residential customers who have not had Lakeshore Fiber service at the same address within the past 12 months.

The free month is issued as credit to the customer’s account after installation and activation of service. Installation fees, equipment purchases, taxes, and optional add‑on services are not included unless explicitly stated. The credit has no cash value, is non‑transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunds, or other credits. Accounts must remain active and in good standing through installation for the credit to be applied. This Promotion may not be combined with certain limited‑time offers, special programs, or discounted packages unless specifically allowed.

Lakeshore Fiber reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this Promotion at any time without prior notice. All decisions regarding eligibility, qualification, and credit issuance are made at the sole discretion of Lakeshore Fiber.

How It Works

  1. Refer a Friend
    Tell your friend to mention your name when they sign up for Lakeshore Fiber.
  2. Make Sure the Name Matches Your Account
    The name your friend gives us must match the name on the active Lakeshore Fiber account.
    For example: If the account is under a husband’s name but the wife gives her name as the Referrer, we won’t be able to locate the correct account and the credit can’t be applied.
  3. Friend Gets Installed
    Once their service is installed and active for 30 days, they receive one free month of internet.
  4. You Get Rewarded
    After verification, you’ll receive your free month of service—credited one month at a time.

Terms & Conditions

The Lakeshore Fiber “Give a Month, Get a Month” Referral Program (“Program”) allows eligible residential customers to earn bill credits by referring new customers. Participation in this Program constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility

Referrer Requirements

To qualify for the Program, a Referrer must:
  • Be an active Lakeshore Fiber residential customer
  • Have an account in good standing

Referee Requirements

A Referred Customer (“Referee”) must:
  • Be new to Lakeshore Fiber with no prior service history
  • Reside at a separate household/address
  • Sign a 24‑month residential service agreement
  • Successfully complete installation and activate service

2. Referral Credits

  • For each eligible referral, the Referrer will receive one (1) free month of service, equal to their standard monthly service charge before taxes and fees.
  • Referral credits have no cash value, are non‑transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Credits are applied after the Referee’s service has been installed and active for the required verification period (typically 30 days).
  • Credits apply one month at a time and cannot exceed the Referrer’s standard monthly service amount.

3. Unlimited Referrals

  • Customers may earn credits for unlimited qualified referrals.
  • Multiple earned credits will be queued and applied to future billing cycles, one per month.
  • If a customer earns more credits than the number of months remaining on their contract, any unused credits will not convert to cash, refunds, or other compensation.

4. Program Limitations

  • Only one referral credit is allowed per new household/address.
  • Self‑referrals and multiple referrals associated with the same address are prohibited.
  • Referrers may not misrepresent Lakeshore Fiber or provide false or misleading information.
  • Lakeshore Fiber may deny or revoke credits if:
    • The Referee cancels service before completing agreement terms
    • Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected
    • Program terms are violated

5. Changes to the Program

Lakeshore Fiber may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice. Changes will not affect referral credits already earned but not yet applied at the time of modification.

6. General

Referral credits may not be combined with certain promotional offers unless explicitly stated. All decisions regarding eligibility, qualification, verification, and credit issuance are made at the sole discretion of Lakeshore Fiber.
