How It Works

  1. Refer a Friend
    Tell your friend to mention your name when they sign up for Lakeshore Fiber.
  2. Make Sure the Name Matches Your Account
    The name your friend gives us must match the name on the active Lakeshore Fiber account.

For example: If the account is under a husband’s name but the wife gives her name as the Referrer, we won’t be able to locate the correct account and the credit can’t be applied.

  1. Friend Gets Installed
    Once their service is installed, they receive one free month of internet.
  2. You Get Rewarded
    After they are active for 60 days, you’ll receive your free month of service—credited one month at a time.

Terms & Conditions

The Lakeshore Fiber “Give a Month, Get a Month” Referral Program (“Program”) allows eligible residential customers to earn bill credits by referring new customers. Participation in this Program constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

  1. Eligibility

Referrer Requirements

To qualify for the Program, a Referrer must:

  • Be an active Lakeshore Fiber residential customer
  • Have an account in good standing

Referee Requirements

A Referred Customer (“Referee”) must:

  • Be new to Lakeshore Fiber with no prior service history
  • Reside at a separate household/address
  • Successfully complete installation and activate service
  1. Referral Credits
  • For each eligible referral, the Referrer will receive one (1) free month of service, equal to their standard monthly service charge before taxes and fees.
  • Referral credits have no cash value, are non‑transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Credits are applied after the Referee’s service has been installed and active for the required verification period (typically 60 days).
  • Credits apply one month at a time and cannot exceed the Referrer’s standard monthly service amount.
  1. Unlimited Referrals
  • Customers may earn credits for unlimited qualified referrals.
  • Multiple earned credits will be queued and applied to future billing cycles, one per month.
  • If a customer earns more credits than the number of months remaining on their contract, any unused credits will not convert to cash, refunds, or other compensation.
  1. Program Limitations
  • Only one referral credit is allowed per new household/address.
  • Self‑referrals and multiple referrals associated with the same address are prohibited.
  • Referrers may not misrepresent Lakeshore Fiber or provide false or misleading information.
  • Lakeshore Fiber may deny or revoke credits if:
    • The Referee cancels service before completing agreement terms
    • Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected
    • Program terms are violated
  1. Changes to the Program

Lakeshore Fiber may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice. Changes will not affect referral credits already earned but not yet applied at the time of modification.

  1. General

Referral credits may not be combined with certain promotional offers unless explicitly stated. All decisions regarding eligibility, qualification, verification, and credit issuance are made at the sole discretion of Lakeshore Fiber.

 

WILDCATS Free Month Promotion

  • Eligibility Requirements: This promotion is valid only for new residential customers who have not had active Lakeshore Fiber service. Service must be established at a qualifying address within the active Lakeshore Fiber network footprint.

  • The Offer: Eligible customers will receive one (1) complimentary month of base internet service.

  • Redemption & Billing: The promotional code must be entered at the time of the initial order and cannot be applied retroactively. The free month will be applied as a statement credit during the customer’s first full billing cycle.

  • Exclusions & Additional Fees: The promotional value applies strictly to the base monthly cost of the selected internet speed tier. Standard installation fees, equipment rentals, applicable taxes, and any additional add-on services are not included in this promotion and will be billed at standard rates.

  • Limitations: This offer holds no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and is non-transferable. It cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or prior purchases.

  • General Terms: All Lakeshore Fiber services are subject to our standard Acceptable Use Policy and Residential Customer Agreement. Lakeshore Fiber reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.

  • Promotional Period: This offer expires on October 31st at 11:59 PM.

 

Veteran Discount 

1. Eligibility The $5.00/month Veteran Discount is available to new and existing Lakeshore Fiber Internet customers who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces. To qualify, the veteran must be the primary account holder on an active residential internet plan.

2. Proof of Status Customers must provide valid verification of their veteran status to enroll in the discount program. Acceptable forms of verification include, but are not limited to:

  • Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)

  • Department of Defense (DoD) Identification Card

  • State-issued driver’s license or identification card with a “Veteran” designation

  • DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty)

3. Discount Application & Details Eligible accounts will receive a recurring $5.00 credit applied to their monthly internet service statement.

  • Existing Customers: The discount will be applied to the next full billing cycle following successful verification of veteran status. Prorated credits will not be issued for mid-cycle enrollments.

  • New Customers: The discount will be applied beginning with the first full monthly billing cycle after installation and verification are complete.

  • The discount applies only to the base monthly internet service fee. It does not apply to taxes, surcharges, equipment rental fees, installation charges, or any other one-time or recurring fees.

4. Limitations & Restrictions

  • Limit one (1) $5.00 Veteran Discount per account and per physical household/service address.

  • Offer not valid for business accounts

  • The discount is non-transferable, holds no cash value, and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

  • Unless explicitly stated otherwise, this discount may not be combinable with certain other temporary promotional offers or heavily discounted custom plans.

5. Account Standing & Program Changes To continue receiving the monthly discount, the customer’s account must remain active and in good standing. Lakeshore Fiber Internet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Veteran Discount program at any time, at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
