You’ll guide daily operations, champion safety and quality, and keep our network rollout moving with precision and pride. Duties

• Lead daily field operations to ensure smooth job completion and adherence to Lakeshore Fiber’s high standards of quality, safety, and customer experience.
• Motivate, coach, and support field technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular job-site visits to validate safety protocols, verify fiber installation quality, and maintain operational consistency.
• Collaborate across departments — including logistics, engineering, and customer operations — to keep projects moving and resolve issues quickly.
• Provide hands-on training to develop technician skillsets and ensure alignment with Lakeshore Fiber’s service and technical benchmarks.
• Monitor equipment and inventory, ensuring crews are prepared, stocked, and operating efficiently.
• Compile reports detailing field performance, project milestones, incidents, and operational insights for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field operations, construction, telecommunications, or logistics leadership.
• A natural leadership presence — you know how to inspire productivity, trust, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills that keep crews informed and cross-functional teams aligned.
• Ability to review operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
• Solid understanding of safety practices and compliance standards within field environments.
• Flexibility to pivot with changing project needs and occasionally support operations outside standard work hours.
• Familiarity with mobile workforce tools, scheduling platforms, or field service applications is a plus.
